A Houseful of Fun

God is good.

When we're overseas, and far from our families, he sends along 'substitutes', like other missionaries and a whole flock of Filipino sisters, brothers, aunts, uncles, mothers and fathers.

But then sometimes, God just lets us come home and soak up as much of our own families as our hearts can possibly stand.

Last weekend was one of the highlights of our time back in Oregon. Josh's sister and her husband loaned us their two little ones for the weekend. What a precious time. The boys were hilarious, and the baby stole our hearts! Thank you J and S for trusting us with your treasures!

3) Some days I'm not so sure that raising Neo in a home with a couple of preteens is a good idea. The other day he was telling me that he watched a scary movie. I told him, 'Well, you didn't have to watch it.' He said, "I want to watch it, (then rolling his eyes) but I was just like 'Oh my gosh, dis is so scary.'"

Life in America is, for the most part, a blast for the three little Moffits. Last weekend alone they got to experience Hometown Buffet and deep snow for the first time!

There have been tea parties....

Silliness....

Frost-bite.....

Wrestling....

Concerts in the big city....

And spring!

Knowledge Bowl Tournament

Last week Daisy competed in her first Knowledge Bowl tournament! Ten middle school teams competed, with Azalea Middle School (Daisy's school) placing 2nd! Go team!

Daisy took the bus with the team - a first for her- while Josh and I, Neo, and Grandpa drove up separately.

We were so proud of all of them, as was their coach, who treated them all to Dairy Queen afterwards!
